Online, May 25, 2010 (Newswire.com) - After a successful inaugural training class during the Spring, the SkillStorm Program for Extreme Educational Development, also known as SPEED, will return for a new summer training class set to start on June 14, 2010. The timing of the upcoming SPEED class presents a perfect employment opportunity for recent college graduates who will face a competitive job market this summer.
The summer SPEED class is scheduled to take place at the SkillStorm corporate headquarters in San Diego, California. SPEED is a highly competitive, intense sales training program where top candidates shine as they compete for a Technical Recruiter role in one of fourteen SkillStorm branches nationwide. The individuals who are selected for the program will experience a competitive learning environment that combines lecture-style sessions with rigorous, hands-on field experience in recruiter and sales training. Participants will enjoy a salary, full accommodations and opportunities to win several prizes, including cash bonuses, throughout the duration of the six-week course. In the end, only the best of the class will be offered lucrative, full-time positions.
"The inaugural SPEED training class was a great success for both our company and the graduates of the program," said SkillStorm CEO Vince Virga. "We look forward to a summer training class filled with individuals who are competitive, sales-minded and motivated to succeed. As we continue to develop this program, we will bring in more candidates that exemplify the qualities and drive we look for in our recruiters."
During the inaugural spring training class, participants were given several fun and interactive opportunities to connect with an online audience who could follow their progress throughout the course of the program. SPEED participants were asked to document their experiences via video testimonials that were posted on a SPEED YouTube Channel and updates posted on a SPEED blog.
"I found that SPEED training was very innovative and really unlike any other program I've ever heard of," said SPEED spring graduate, Kenny Fellows. "I was very impressed with the entire experience from start to finish. Between the great accommodations, bonuses, perks, as well as the character of everyone we interacted with, I could tell right away that I was extremely lucky to come across this opportunity right out of college."
The program is currently being advertised in a variety of ways including a dedicated Facebook page and viral marketing campaign; information sessions and informal meet-and-greets at a number of campus locations; job postings at University Career Centers; and email blasts through a partnership with Career Athletes, the leading provider of dedicated career development services and software within collegiate athletics.
Interested applicants should complete the free SPEED Personality Assessment to be considered for the program. The assessment can be accessed from the SPEED webpage at www.SkillStorm.com/SPEED.
