All Eyes on UCLA-NUS Global Executive MBA Program Best Fit for Senior-level Professionals who Hope for Top Positions

The UCLA - NUS Executive MBA program allows senior executives from anywhere in the world to participate in an unparalleled global learning experience without interrupting their careers.

Rapid globalization and the complexity of today's competitive business environment have increased
demand among senior executives for a management education that exposes them to the latest
knowledge in best leadership practices and tools to meet the challenges ahead.
The UCLA - NUS EMBA program, developed jointly by UCLA Anderson School of Management and NUS
Business School, provides participants with a truly global perspective on leadership and management.
This dual-degree, part-time intensive program is the ideal preparation for top positions in organizations
around the world by taking advantage of the immense resources of two Pacific Rim powerhouse business
schools in meeting the future needs of organizational management.
The UCLA-NUS Executive MBA is a unique one-of-a-kind program structure comprising 6 two-week
segments over a 15-month period that allows participants to attend from all over the globe and
accommodates the demanding schedules of busy executives who might be located in any geographic
region and cannot attend locally-based programs.
The program is designed for senior working professionals with a record of achievement and
demonstrated leadership ability who would like to gain an extensive, well-balanced general management
education with a primary focus on Asia and North America and provides the breadth and depth of
knowledge, and tools and skill sets necessary to lead organizations.
The class is uniquely diverse not only by nationality, culture, and industry and functional backgrounds, but
importantly, participants are currently both working and living in very different parts of the globe. This is
probably the only program where some 50% of participants fly in for segments from other continents (not
only countries), making for an enormously rich classroom discussion and learning experience for all.
Participants are awarded two globally recognized MBA degrees - one from UCLA and one from NUS - the
same MBA degrees as each university's other MBA programs (full-time, fully-employed and executive
programs).
"Drawing from deeply embedded knowledge of North American and East Asian perspectives, the UCLA-
NUS Global Executive MBA program provides participants with the opportunity to learn from world-
renowned and award-winning faculties and develops them into leaders with essential skill sets and
leadership capabilities that are directly relevant to the most critical business and organizational issues in
our rapidly globalizing world," said UCLA Anderson Senior Associate Dean and Professor Chris Erickson,
Academic Director UCLA - NUS Executive MBA Program.
"The unique format of the program really allowed me to fully immerse myself and gain first-hand valuable
insights into four different approaches of conducting business without interrupting my regular work
schedule. But more valuable was the fact that I was able to immediately apply what I learned alongside
executives from different industries and regions, which was a beneficial stepping stone for my
professional career," said Cho Sung Bum (Wesley Cho), UCLA - NUS EMBA Class of 2009, Founder &
President, Wesley Language School, Co., Ltd., Buncheon City, Gyounggi-Do, Seoul, Korea.
