Online, August 21, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Himani Wadhwa describes herself as a people person. A prolific writer, Himani hails from Jaipur and did her graduation in Bachelor of Business Management from International College for Girls (ICG), Jaipur. She has also pronounced interest in documentaries and content writing.
Himani believes she has always been an HR person. She is influenced and inspired by people around her, she connects well and has over the years, developed a keen understanding of human behavior and psychology. In fact, this is where her stories and poetry originate from.
After her graduation, Himani wanted to continue being in her hometown and found a perfect solution academically in Jaipuria Jaipur where she joined PGDM. She is doing her final year and acquired the opportunity to intern with Hotel Clarks Amer, Jaipur, a five star hotel in Rajasthan. Her role was to assist her mentor in organizing Training & Development programs, analyzing group dynamics and maintaining relations. Talking about her learning she says, "Most important thing I learnt was that if you realize you are making a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it else it leaves a mark on your credibility". She also realized that as a professional, one does not have the leeway of doing a less than perfect job ever, especially not when dealing with human beings, "When you are talking to people, handling grievances or managing and organizing things, it is important to keep your cool and do a good job".
Her future plans are to join advertising and media industry. She attributes her learning and success so far to her family and to Jaipuria faculty who supported her through the internship. She is also all praise for the infrastructure provided by the institute that has helped her learn and build her skills.
Himani is glad for the holistic development opportunities that Jaipuria Jaipur provides its students. She is an active student and has leveraged all the opportunities. She is a tennis player and was the sports secretary during her graduation. Himani is also a keen badminton player and usually stayed back after college to play or simply interact with classmates in the lovely grounds. She is also good with organizing events and has used those skills in every event she could participate in Jaipuria Jaipur.
"I have had all the opportunities I wanted, to showcase myself and my talent. There hasn't been a single moment where I was not guided when in confusion," says Himani about the support she has received from the college and her faculty. She aspires to be a writer some day and in the meantime is working hard to make her dreams come true.
