AlphaOne Successfully Concludes Another Community Drive on 'World Cancer Day' With Peer Education Program for Cancer Awareness
New Delhi, India, February 6, 2015 (Newswire.com) - On the occasion of World Cancer Day, February 04, 2015, AlphaOne in association with Life Care Hospital successfully concluded another community drive by offering free effective peer educational program to spread Cancer awareness for the people of Amritsar. Dr. Barinder Singh, Cancer Specialist at Life Care Hospital gave an informative talk to strengthen and spread awareness among an audience of 600 patrons, about the dreaded disease as well as educated them about preventive lifestyle choices and how to take care and manage emergencies. Over 20 students of Universal Academy, Taran Tarn performed a dance and skit at AlphaOne with the themes being, Cancer Awareness and ‘Say No to Drugs’.
