Alphion Corporation Hires Industry Veteran to Lead North America Sales

Princeton Junction, NJ, May 18, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Alphion Corporation, a worldwide developer of fiber-optic access solutions for enterprise, broadband, and mobile networks, announced today that veteran sales executive Wayne Shackelford has been named Vice President of Sales, effective immediately. He will report directly to Chairman, President and CEO, Dr. Bharat P. Dave.

Mr. Shackelford has more than 25 years of experience and success in sales and business development in a variety of hardware and software communications products through direct and channel sales teams to global enterprises, Wireless and Telco service providers. Prior to joining Alphion, he was the Director Strategic Accounts at Mariner Partners Inc. a video QOE monitoring software company and General Manager - Hosted Sales for Redwood City, CA-based ASSIA Inc's DSL Management Software division.
