Alsbridge's Chairman Americas, Morton H. Meyerson to be inducted into the 2013 Outsourcing Hall of Fame at the IAOP Outsourcing World Summit Awards

Meyerson will be inducted into the 2013 Outsourcing Hall of Fame at the IAOP Outsourcing World Summit Awards Luncheon, February 19, 2013, 12:15 PM- 1:45 PM, JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge, Phoenix, AZ.
The IAOP Outsourcing Hall of Fame is a unique award that recognizes the outstanding professionals who have made significant impact on both business and society through their contributions to the outsourcing industry. Morton Meyerson is credited with developing the innovative concept known as outsourcing in the 1980s, and creating the first offshore development centers in Latin America and India.
As the Chairman (non-executive) of Alsbridge, Inc., Morton takes an active role in setting the strategic direction of Alsbridge. He has a clear, operational and strategic view to the future of Outsourcing Industry and aids the Firm's goal to take outsourcing, shared services and offshoring to the next level and create value for the buyer and the provider.
He is the former chairman and CEO of Perot Systems Corporation, former President and Vice Chairman of Electronic Data Systems, Inc. (EDS); and the former Chairman and CEO of duPont Glore Forgan, a Wall Street Investment firm. Morton Meyerson was elected three times by the Wall Street Transcript as outstanding Chief Executive Officer. From 1992 to 1998, Morton served as Chair and CEO of Perot Systems. During his tenure, Perot Systems grew from 100 million to 1 billion in revenue, going from negative profits to over $90 million in pre tax profits. Currently, Morton is the Chair and CEO of 2M Companies, Inc.; Morton has been actively engaged in investment activities through 2M and its affiliates since 1985.
