Alternative World Fusion In NY Courtesy Of Khaled

Online, September 20, 2010 (Newswire.com) - The New York-based musician Khaled will be performing at 169 Bar on September 30th to kick off the 2010-2011 tour supporting his second album "The Rabbit Hole". Khaled's goal is to introduce New York City to Alternative World Fusion, which he describes as, "If a Middle Easterner had a polygamist affair with Flamenco and Rock 'n Roll, the result would be Khaled."

Dajani is a self-taught musician, who came to the U.S. from Saudi Arabia at the age of sixteen. Once he entered high school, and the realm of painful adolescent trysts, he became a writer as well. "I love writing. It's so much fun playing with words and their timing. I never physically write down the music. I play it repeatedly as if beating it into my memory. Once I get the feeling of the music, I write the words to tell its story." Khaled is also known for his intimate and exciting live performances, which one fan in Newport, Kentucky described as, "One of the Top 5 Performances I've ever seen!"
