Alteryx 2011 Delivers Enhanced Geographic Business Intelligence
Online, December 21, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Alteryx, LLC is now shipping Alteryx 2011, the latest offering of its seamlessly integrated business intelligence (BI) platform used by more than a quarter-million users worldwide for getting same-day answers to their most urgent questions in such areas as marketing, sales, real estate, merchandising and engineering.
Alteryx® 2011 delivers robust consumer profiling and behavior segmentation tools, advanced processing of spatial and non-spatial data, and a full range of BI functionality from within the latest Alteryx engine 6.0 release -- Spatial Processing; Extract, Transform and Load (ETL); Address Hygiene and Data Quality; BI Analytics; Reporting and Visualization; and Customer Data Integration (CDI).
Alteryx 2011 models corporate workflows and produces detailed, presentation-grade reports in minutes, not the hours, days or weeks required by traditional approaches.
Alteryx 2011 builds on the company's proven technologies of the past decade and now incorporates several enhanced BI features previously only available as standalone offerings:
• Location Optimization for planning business network expansions and/or contractions
• Behavioral Analytics for consumer profiling and segmentation
• Automated Module Packaging for simple, enterprise-wide distribution
• New Tool Suites with enhanced analytics and expanded charting options
• New Macros that add iterative processing capabilities and additional optimization options
Alteryx 2011 uses a highly visual, click-and-drag interface to model and automate an organization's best practice workflows. This translates into the rapid distribution of powerful BI tools that require no specialized technical training to develop or deploy. Alteryx customers in hosted and on-premise environments can easily publish these solutions to every level of their organization, including making them available as menu-driven web wizards, for use by LOB managers and staff.
"Our beta testing of the Alteryx engine 6.0 release included leading companies in the Commercial Real Estate, Restaurant, Retail, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Media and Telecommunications industries," said Amy Holland, the Alteryx VP of Product Management," and their feedback confirmed that we were on-track to deliver the important new functionality, integration, and the top 'wish list' items of our customer base."
Heath Howell, Senior Geodemographic Analyst at VF Corporation, said, "We've used Alteryx for years, and testing the 6.0 beta further justified our decision to deploy Alteryx solutions in support of many of our brands. We've already developed many modules that can be easily leveraged across our brand portfolio, such as The North Face, VANS, Wrangler and others, requiring little or no IT support or training for our category managers. It's been a no-brainer for our Business Analytics group to make Alteryx our preferred BI platform. We've already seen ROI and operational improvements from the new features."
Alteryx, LLC began shipping Alteryx 2011 to customers on November 30, 2010. The major Alteryx engine 6.0 release is a no-cost upgrade for customers with current support agreements.
