Jacqueline S. Williams joins host Annalisa Adams-Qualtiere, President of Altruistic Leadership and Ed Harris, Diversity Consultant to discuss achieving success without peace and depression.

On a special date and time, Wednesday August 11, 12-Noon EST-Jacqueline Williams will share with the listening audience of Altruistic Leadership her expertise, views, and concerns regarding depression in the diverse community. During this extended 60-minute segment, we will discuss the serious topic of depression, the perceived stigma associated with depression among people or color, the statistics regarding depression, and mental and physical health risk.

Jacqueline S. Williams, MSW, LCSW-R specializes in Christian counseling for individuals, couples, and groups. Jacqui believes God blesses each human being with a vast array of experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities that make them a unique individual. Her approach is to help her clients raise their self-awareness about the talents they possess and how they can exercise faith to achieve their personal and professional aspirations.
Jacqui uses a diverse set of counseling methods that support the whole person. She recognizes that her clients require solutions that meet their needs as biological, psychological, sociological and spiritual entities. Jacqui incorporates a set of overarching principles into her work that allow her to build effective relationships with her clients. She commits herself to creating a space where each individual may achieve his or her goals in an emotionally safe and confidential environment.

Jacqui has over 18 years of social work and counseling experience gained from a number of private & public agencies. Prior to establishing FaithWorks in 2002, she held roles at the New Hope Guild Center, Brooklyn Psychiatric Center, and Saint Vincent's Services. Jacqui was formerly a Related Services Counseling Provider with the NYC Department of Education. Jacqui is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New York and she is affiliated with the New York Christian Counseling Center as a Christian Psychotherapist. She is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the American Association of Christian Counselors. She is currently a Network Provider for New Life Ministries.

Jacqui received a Masters of Social Work from Fordham University. She has earned an advanced certificate in Bible Studies from The New York School of the Bible and has earned her primary certification in Rational Emotive Therapy from the prestigious Albert Ellis Institute in New York City. She is a SIFI Certified Social Work Field Instructor. Jacqui's passion is serving others and she is a member of The Brooklyn Tabernacle.
