Mr. Foster worked for two decades in the newspaper industry, as a reporter, editor and editorial writer at The Charlotte Observer and The Detroit Free Press, and as Publisher and CEO of the East Bay Business Times and the Silicon Valley Business Journal. Mr. Foster has gained wide recognition as both a Bay Area Media Leader and a respected Journalist with vast connections in the community. He has interviewed some of the country's most noted CEOs including Jack Welch, Carly Fiorina and Steve Wozniak.

In 2007, he founded the marketing and communications firm, AMF Media Group. His entrepreneurial approach to business resulted in two of the nation's most noted turnarounds for business journal newspapers, and has enabled him to achieve more than 50% annual growth rate for AMF. Mr. Foster is also Chairman and Founder of The Bay Area Leadership Foundation, which provides scholarships and mentoring to economically, disadvantaged students.
