AMAX to Demo GPU Virtualization Technology at GPU Technology Conference 2016

AMAX, a leading provider of HPC, Cloud/IaaS, GPU and Data Center solutions, will demonstrate GPU AMAX’s award-winning Deep Learning Platforms running Bitfusion Boost to virtualize GPU resources from multiple nodes for rendering and deep learning applications.   

Deep Learning is the hottest and fastest-growing segment of the machine learning/artificial intelligence field. It features the development of complex, multi-layered non-linear algorithms based on neural networks to achieve breakthroughs in object, facial, image and speech recognition, as well as machine translation, big data insights and natural language processing. The critical learning/training phase for machines can be expedited with GPUs to process large datasets and develop complex neural networks. By the same token, media and 3D rendering can be optimized with the addition of GPU resources to reduce rendering time. GPU virtualized approach allows companies to better manage their hardware spend, while maximizing compute resources on an as-needed basis for the most cost-effective approach to machine learning development or rendering jobs.

The demo can be seen at AMAX’s booth (#111) at GTC, and will run on dual DL-E400 servers featuring liquid-cooled NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti cards.
