Online, March 15, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Treehotel is a new concept of tree houses in Sweden based on the cooperation of well-known designers and architects. Kent, the owner says: "I told the architects that they must come up with a unique design. They had to create something new that you couldn't find anywhere else in the world."

The result is a unique collection of hotel rooms created in harmony with nature. Located in the small town of Harads, just 60km south of the Arctic Circle, Treehotel features six uniquely designed rooms. While the original brief was to create something that can work with nature, the architect of the Mirrorcube had the opposite view, that nature must reflect in our buildings. The Mirrorcube is a lightweight aluminium structure clad in mirrored glass and hung around a tree trunk. It fits everywhere, it is just the reflection of its surroundings, a reflection of nature.
