Amazon Slash Prices With Its New Support Plans

Online, July 2, 2012 (Newswire.com) - The cloud computing services by the online marketing giant, Amazon has declared to refurbish its supporting plan by making its premium supporting plan cost efficient, enrolling the customers automatically in its 'Basic' supporting phase free of cost. In addition to the new changes, Amazon Web Services (AWS) has also updated its supporting plans to Basic, Developer, Business and Enterprise, from Gold, Silver,Bronze and Platinum.

According to reports, when a new customer logs into his/ her AWS account soon after signing up, then the person automatically gets enrolled into the BASIC supporting tier, when he/ she can enjoy certain value added services like, 24 X 7 availability of customer services for billing and accounting issues, technical support for system health issues along with access to technical FAQs, guidance to best practices, the AWS Service Health Dashboard, and the AWS Developer Forums.

The Developer plan, which was previously known as the Bronze plan has been reduced to $49 per month, providing all the facilities that are enjoyed by a customer availing the free Basic plan along with one-to-one customer support for any AWS-related question, and an array of added services. While the customer availing the Business tier can enjoy a wide range of services including that of Basic and Developer tiers at a cheaper rate of $100 per month only, compared to that of its earlier rate of $400 monthly.

Most importantly, the Enterprise level, previously known as Platinum package will now charge a fatal fee of 3%, 5%, 7% and 10% depending on its uses. An Enterprise level customer will enjoy all the conveniences offered to a Business customer along with Trusted Advisor Program.

However, reports also says that this crucial role played by Amazon Web Services to keep its Enterprise and Business customers happy in a teeming cloud computing market will definitely keep them ahead of their competitors.
