This activation solution meets the market demand for end-to-end operation and maintenance of all-IP convergence networks. The Amdocs and Huawei activation pack is a preconfigured solution for the provisioning of Huawei Ethernet and Fiber equipment that allows next-generation broadband providers to deploy Amdocs Operational Support Systems (OSS) solutions for Huawei networks faster and with automated network planning, rollout and delivery. The activation pack combines Amdocs' OSS expertise with Huawei's equipment to provide a proven and certified solution for network operators.
The preconfigured pack provides all the necessary interfaces to enable service providers to deliver new services across Huawei's Carrier Ethernet and FTTx (Fiber to the x) equipment. The U2000 provides unified activation across Huawei's entire portfolio of IP and Ethernet routers and switches based on MTOSI 2.0 API, a standard-based management interface as defined by the Telemanagement Forum.
