America's Strongest Woman Celebrates Fourth of July at the Capitol
Team USA Olympic Weightlifter Sarah Robles continues her pursuit of the American dream in Washington DC
Online, July 3, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Top-ranked weightlifter Sarah Robles is going to spend Independence Day celebrations in Washington D.C. with her Olympic teammates. She will be attending the The Capitol Concerts 4th of July Weekend at the West Lawn of the Capitol. Sarah will be taking in the sights as inspiration for representing the U.S.A. when she travels to London as an Olympic hopeful in 2012 Olympic Games.

The event is on Wednesday, July 4th, and Sarah arrives the evening the day before and departs at early on Thursday, July 5th. Sarah has been recently profiled by Buzzfeed as an athlete who lives solely upon her $400 monthly stipend from U.S.A. Weightlifting. She's also been profiled by TIME Magazine, as a plus-sized woman who breaks the mold of what it is to be a female athlete in our time.
Sarah's dedicated lifting coach, Joe Micela, trains her daily and is not part of the U.S.A. Weightlifting's official staff. He has been instrumental in helping her emerge as an Olympic contender. Sarah and Joe have begun to attempting fundraising for Joe to join Sarah at the Olympic Village during the Games, to train and support her at on her Olympic journey.
