America's Warrior Partnership Honors Former U.S. Senator Elizabeth Dole With Fourth Annual Leo Thorsness Leadership Award

WASHINGTON, July 31, 2018 (Newswire.com) - America’s Warrior Partnership has named former U.S. Senator Elizabeth Dole as the recipient of the fourth annual Leo K. Thorsness Leadership Award. The award recognizes outstanding service to veteran communities and is named after Col. Leo K. Thorsness, a Medal of Honor recipient and one of the most highly decorated American airmen of the Vietnam War.

Senator Dole will receive this year’s award at the Fifth Annual Warrior Community Integration Symposium, which occurs from September 5 – 7, 2018, at the Omni Atlanta Hotel.
