Amish Door Village To Host Southern Gospel Group The Perrys

Online, March 10, 2011 (Newswire.com) - The Amish Door Village's 2011 entertainment series continues with a performance by the Southern Gospel quintet The Perrys, March 17.
The Perrys are known for their moving lyrics, traditional songs, talented vocalists and genuine performance for the audience. 2011 not only marks their forty second year of performing, but also brings the debut of their highly anticipated new release, Blue Skies.
"Our performance appeals to long-time fans and the next generation," says Libbi Perry Stuffle, who sings alto and began with the group at its inception in 1970. "Meeting fans before and after the shows is truly a blessing, and the highlight of touring."
After 41 years of performing, they have been honored with many awards by fans and peers alike. In 2005, Libbi won Favorite Female Vocalist, while 2009 brought lead singer Joseph Habedank the Young Artist of the Year award.
Along with the entertainment, the Amish Door Restaurant provides a lavish home-cooked meal, including a fresh garden salad and their famous Amish Door pie.
