Amy Adams At The Muppets Family

Online, November 28, 2011 (Newswire.com) - We know Amy Adams for her outstanding performance in Fighter by Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale, which was a boxing flick. But recently Amy transitioned into being a part of a family film that involved music, comedy and dancing. She plays Mary in Muppets and along with her boyfriend (played by Jason Segel) manages to save the adorable characters from the grasp of an oil tycoon, who is miserably greedy.

"It was fantastic but so much different than I expected," Amy said, "I have a whole new respect for the puppeteers. I did not know it was so technical, so complicated and so specific."

Praising her co actor she said, "He has a ton of energy. And he's like a big kid, but a true professional, and that always helps. Plus he has this surreal passion for the Muppets, so he brought that to the set every day."

Adams has finally returned back to the studio where she got a taste of stardom with her resounding success in a musical film, 'Enchantment' released in 2007. This is her return right after three months of her delivering a baby Avian Olea Le Gallo, in Los Angeles. She added, "It was my first family film after having a child and cool to work with the Muppets. They were a big part of my childhood," she said, as she sat next to Miss Piggy at a Beverly Hilton hotel press conference.

"It was an opportunity to relive my childhood while I had a child and it's going to be a great way to introduce my child to the Muppets."

She has lent her voice to a solo number and also shared her voice with Miss Piggy, finally joining the entire cast for the Finale of Hollywood Boulevard.

On the dance trips with her co star she said, "Jason is actually a natural. He only broke a couple of ribs," Adams joked, "and didn't drop me but lifted my skirt up, accidentally I think, just once."
