An FDA Agent Is Responsible For The Death Of My Wife Renee Sapse,
Reply from Dara A. Carrigan, Associate Commissioner for FDA Regulatory Affairs by which she assures me that my concerns will be evaluated.
Online, January 13, 2011 (Newswire.com) - An FDA agent is responsible for the death of my wife Renee Sapse, following her brutal, inhumane handling intended to obtain from me, Alfred T. Sapse, MD (r) the results I obtained with an aging retardation, "Youth Drug", I was working with - A report dealing with my wife's death had been submitted to Margaret A. Hamburg, MD, Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) (Enclosed) and a reply letter had been received from Dara A. Corrigan, Associate Commissioner for the Regulatory Affairs of FDA.

The history of the "Youth Drug", and then Mr. Douglas M. Loveland, Special Agent, FDA makes his appearance.
On Friday, June 29, 2001 at the 9th Congress of International Association of Biochemical Gerontology (IABG) in Vancouver Canada BC, a poster titled "The effect of AC147 on the life span and the telomerase activity of the chick embryo fibroblast", had been presented by A.T. Sapse et al.
In spite of its innocent sounding, this poster presented for the first time, evidence that a drug can stop the process of aging.
First the definition of the life span. In 1960 a scientist, Heyflick had shown that cells, all types of cells, human or animal, go through a life span of four phases namely, the youth, adult life, senescence and death, all controlled by the enzyme: telomerase.
In Sapse's et al. experiments a group of fibroblast cells were allowed to go through the four phases above, whereas another group of fibroblasts were treated with AC147 in various dilutions.
It is then when the big surprise occurred, namely the AC147 treated cells went into phase one, the youth phase, but they did not age subsequently, they stayed young throughout their entire life span, and "died young of old age".
The life span and the telomerase activity of the treated cells almost doubled, namely the life span went from 6-7 days to 12-13 days, the same for the telomerase activity. That corresponds to 6-7 telomers for the untreated cells, and 12-13 telomers for the AC 147 treated cells.
After a few days of euphoria and interviews, a close and wiser friend of mine took me to the side and warned me that I have now a hot potato in my hands. He advised me to burn my paper, destroy it and forget the whole thing, because what I have apparently found out, was an answer to the golden dream of the human race "the eternal youth".
I listened to his advice until October, 2007 when I presented in London, UK a paper on CNS disorders (Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, MS) and the role of telomerase in these diseases. After the presentation I was a participant in a panel together with Dr. Aaron Chuang (Glaxo Smith Kline) and Dr. John Sinden, RE NEURON (Sweden) dealing with stem cells, telomerase and others.
I believe that then in the heat of discussing with other participants, I forgot about my self imposed moratorium on my anti-aging activities, and I went on to describe to them the anti-aging results I have obtained in 2001.
Back to Las Vegas on one day, it was April 15, 2008 at 10:30 in the morning I heard a knock on my door. There were four people outside, 3 males and a police woman, one of then who introduced himself as Douglas M. Loveland CFE, Senior Special Agent, the Office of the Criminal Investigation FDA, then produced a document, a search warrant authorizing him to search and seize documents related to the activities of my company Stem Cell Pharma, Inc. located in my apartment. This visit started a suite of events, leading to the death of my wife Renee Sapse.

Letter to:
Margaret A. Hamburg, M.D.
Commissioner Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
Rockville, MD 20852-1448
Dear Commissioner,
The enclosed material would provide evidence that one of the FDA employees, a Mr. Douglas M. Loveland, had used severe coercion on my wife Renee Sapse in order to have her pressure me into disclosing to Mr. Loveland certain information regarding my research.
Shortly after this happening my wife's mental and physical functions deteriorated rapidly, that led to a long and painful suffering and death, March 30, 2010. The statement made by Mr. Loveland on April 15, 2010 around 12:30 p.m., that in my opinion, started the suite of events above, and I believe I am quoting it correctly was "Mr. Sapse I need information from you regarding statements you made at the Neuro Drug Conference in London UK, October, 2007 that you found a way to break the Heyflick limits, also on finding a drug that would extend the Telomerase activity. Should you refuse to cooperate, than I would arrest you, and the police woman here present would take your wife to an ambulance waiting downstairs and to an undisclosed destination (nursing home?). I will not arrest you, if you would cooperate.

In reply to this letter I have received a letter dated December 29, 2010 from Dara A. Corrigan, FDA, Associate Commissioner for Regulatory Affairs (enclosed)
So, where do we go from here?
First let's wait for the results of the FDA inquiry. I believe that would uncover some shocking, unsavory events. On the other hand the death of my wife made me look more attentivelly to the situation of the present anti-aging movement, in the US and what I saw, I did not like.
We the old timers (I am 85 myself) are numbering 60 million +, an enormous amount of people, all looking for a more comfortable aging, perhaps some enjoyment and yet, we present to the world, a picture of some disoriented people, with plenty of overnight "anti-aging" specialists, with few books containing some vague anti-aging advice and recommendations, with plenty of "anti-aging" new offices springing out every day, and with enormous amounts of money spent for worthless remedies. It is the time now to put some order in this chaos.
First, you should know that we have available right now, all and every item you should need to have a comfortable and yes enjoyable life, including the legal availability of the "anti-aging" drug mentioned before.
What we need is to meet and put together an initial provisional guiding "anti-aging" desk references that would include compounds including legally obtained drugs presently on the market, also over the counter products that had shown some merits and others I believe that it would take about six months to accomplish this. In one year we will have a comprehensive "Anti-Aging" Desk Reference, a useful tool for all anti-aging professionals that would include all products that in my opinion would offer clear choices - which if followed, would fulfill the Commentary published in JAMA - The Journal of the American Medical Association, October 3, 1977, Vol. 238, #14, "Suppose We Died Young, Late in Life...?" so that you would be able to enjoy your life again.

For my CV go to the internet at www.kronosiv.co.uk, that includes 40+ years in the field of geriatrics.
In 1977 with the help of the Nevada legislators, and of Mike O'Callaghan the Governor of Nevada, I introduced in Nevada, and now all over the US, Gerovital H3 (GH3) the anti-aging Romanian drug, event dealt with in books and publications.
