Anabel Hernandez: The Truth Starts to Crash on Her

She has bodyguards 24 hours a day, seven days a week. She has been attacked, as her family as well. The second part that comes with being so thorough as she is with her investigative journalism is how much? How much does it cost to bend the truth?

Anabel Hernandez has been an investigative journalist all her life. She has the passion to look for the truth, but does that come with a price? There are two ways to interpret that. The first one would be the price of being killed and the second would be, for the right amount of U.S. dollars to bend the truth. The first one is a given, she has been under constant death threats for her writings. Writings that include every major Drug Cartel that has existed in Mexico, especially the Sinaloa Cartel. Anabel has written stories about the Mexican government, Ex-Presidents, common people from Mexico. She has bodyguards 24 hours a day, seven days a week. She has been attacked, as her family as well. The second part that comes with being so thorough as she is with her investigative journalism is how much? How much does it cost to bend the truth?

How much power does an award-winning journalist have? Those are some of the accusations that people have brought up against her. People have filed charges against her for perjury, defamation of character and for paying people off to say different or back up her stories. Anabel has even been accused of having direct connections to people that are in jail and are charged for murder, extortion and kidnappings. She denies having any type of relationship with this people. Most people that bring up any sort of claims in court against her end up giving up. There is so much corruption in the Mexican Judicial system that people will not keep pursuing the case. Anabel is very convincing with the courts. She files motions to dismiss the case because she says she has evidence which consists of videotapes, phone recordings, signed confessions, and/or she has witnesses that would discredit any claims brought up against her. How much money does Anabel have? Who is financially supporting her? Is there a hidden agenda that the Mexican people do not know about. Anabel has been persecuted by everybody, Cartels, the Mexican Government, the people from Mexico, so how can she have a hidden agenda. Is she doing it for fame? For money? The answer is not known.

There are reports that she was terminated from her post with the magazine "Proceso", but nobody has made an official report stating that she has been terminated. She has been accused of blackmailing everybody from high ranking members of society to politicians and even as far as fellow journalists. All this and on top of it all there are her affiliations with extortionists. With these claims and allegations it is a very safe assumption she was in fact terminated from "Proceso" which If that is the case, how is Anabel financially supporting herself? She is married and has two children, so how is she making money and how is she paying for round the clock security? Some people say she pays for her own security and bodyguards others say the Mexican government provides them for her. All of this questions are being asked by the people of Mexico. Does Anabel support herself by bending the truth, lying and printing false news reports so people would by the magazine or the daily newspaper. Hopefully one day the truth will come out, is Anabel a real investigative journalist that only goes after the facts and the truth, claims that she makes herself personally. Or is Anabel a fake journalist that will write up any story by lying, paying people off, helping crime organizations with their murders, kidnappings and then write about something different to cover up that story. Many people believe that is the case. She writes these flamboyant stories so people will read about those and not read about what is really happening in their backyard.

In many stories, the sung Hero ends up turning into the Villain. Only time will tell.
