Nonprofit Wilderness Therapy and Outdoor Behavioral Healthcare Provider Receives Honorable Mention in Listing of North America's Top Leadership Development Programs.

Mesa, Arizona-ANASAZI Foundation, a nonprofit outdoor behavioral healthcare provider, today announced it was recognized by the editors of Leadership Excellence magazine in a ranking of the top leadership development programs in North America.

The ranking was compiled following a survey of 500 organizations focused on organizational and leadership development. ANASAZI, which operates wilderness therapy and leadership courses in Arizona, received honorable mention in the nonprofit category.
"It is humbling for ANASAZI Foundation to be included on a list with Fortune 100 companies, major universities, and well-known nonprofits like the Boy Scouts," said ANASAZI President and Executive Director Mike Merchant. "We are honored to be recognized by the experts in leadership development."

Executive Excellence, the global firm that publishes Leadership Excellence, said their list is based on seven crucial areas for leadership, including vision and mission; involvement and participation; measurement and accountability; design, content, and curriculum; presenters, presentations, and delivery; take-home value for participants; and outreach and outcomes of the programs and products.

Complete results of the leadership development survey are featured in the September issue of Leadership Excellence, which maintains a print circulation of approximately 100,000 readers worldwide.
