Andrew McManus to Improve Raggamuffin Music Festival

Andrew McManus created Raggamuffin Music Festival eight years ago. Since then, it has improved every year.

Andrew McManus is the founder and president of his own concert promotion company, McManus Entertainment. For the past eight years, he has organized and put on the Raggamuffin Music Festival using his contacts in the music industry. Over the years, he has booked famous bands to big concerts in Australia. Some musicians he has worked with include Stevie Nicks, Carole King, Doc McGhee, UB40, and YES. Nicks and King have both thanked McManus personally on stage at concerts he helped organize, and McGhee said at a festival in Nashville that McManus is the only person he works within Australia.

Andrew McManus started the Raggamuffin Music Festival in Auckland, New Zealand to celebrate his favorite musical genre, reggae. He has tried to share his enjoyment of the music with others through Raggamuffin Music Festival. Over the years, McManus has worked to improve his pet project and infuse it with a steady diversification of sound.

This year, Andrew McManus is in talks with Los Angeles rap giant Ice Cube to come to Raggamuffin. He hopes that Ice Cube will take the main stage and represent the vein of hip-hop that has grown in reggae music in recent years. McManus says his success in the music industry can be attributed to his work ethic and his refusal to give up on projects. He feels that Raggamuffin is a reflection of his values.

Andrew McManus revels in the popularity of Raggamuffin because many more people are sharing in the joy that is reggae music. The festival has over 100,000 likes on its Facebook page and is climbing the ranks of the most successful running reggae music festivals. He continues to try to improve the festival for its fans every year he puts it on.
