Android Version Of You Tube Unveiled

Online, July 13, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Amidst the sensational publicity of the Google I/O Developers conference, taking place in San Francisco, the audiences have almost missed out on some of the other interesting developments that Google had rolled out recently. Amongst them is the release of the Android version of YouTube that has made life easier as well as interesting. With the launch of the audio-video network in the Android devices, Google announced that it includes a fascinating feature for downloading videos automatically, which the application thinks that a user might be interested in watching. On being asked about how it recognizes the aptitude of a user, a Google source said that YouTube downloads the video footages based on your subscribed channels, which it launched back in 2011 or by scanning the past browsing history.

Sources say that, this application enables the users to watch the downloaded video footages when they plug in and on Wi-Fi in their Android devices. It enables them to watch videos even when they are offline or out of their mobile coverage area. Citing an example, the source said that it will prove beneficial for the ones' on the go, as the application will allow them to watch the pre-downloaded videos, without the need to re-download them again and be extravagant with their 3G downloads.

The application features an easy to use navigational user interface that will allow the Android users to play the downloaded videos simply by pressing the green colored arrow in the corner of their screen. However, one could also instruct the YouTube application to download those videos, which the users have already saved in the watch it later list, revealed a source.

Google also announced that the firm is also working to provide the same kind of experience to the iOS users and will be released soon in the market. However, it refused to give a specific date of its release.
