Support Connection, Inc., a not-for-profit organization specializing in free, confidential support services for people affected by breast and ovarian cancer, announces a new monthly support group for women with breast cancer: "Living with Breast Cancer Later in Life."

Join a group of your peers as we discuss the topics and challenges faced by women dealing with breast cancer later in life. This group offers women the opportunity to connect with other survivors, share information and experiences, and gain support from one another. Discussion will be led by a trained peer facilitator who is a breast cancer survivor. Open to women at all stages of breast cancer: diagnosis, in treatment and post-treatment.

This new support group will take place at the East Fishkill Community Library in Hopewell Junction, NY. The first session will be on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 beginning at 10:15 am. It will continue to meet monthly on the second Tuesday of every month.

Participation is free but pre-registration is required. For info or to register, call Support Connection at 914-962-6402, or toll-free at 800-532-4290. To learn more about Support Connection's free services, visit http://www.supportconnection.org
