Annual Founders of the International SeaKeepers Society

Online, October 31, 2013 (Newswire.com) - The International SeaKeepers Society's Annual Founders' Dinner will be held on Thursday, October 31st 2013 at a private waterfront estate during the 54th Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS). Founders' Dinner honors SeaKeepers' most generous benefactors and leaders at an exclusive dinner to promote the organization's innovative programmatic activity. Last year's Founders' Dinner honored James F. Jacoby and the pilot DISCOVERY Yachts research expedition in the Dry Tortugas studying coral reef genetics. It was truly a memorable evening.

Founders' Dinner guests will be transported in style by the dedicated Superyacht Tender Service from the Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Marina to the SYBAss Superyacht Experience Area. At 7:00 PM guests will arrive at the private waterfront estate to enjoy cocktails and tour Matchpoint, a 49-meter Christensen luxury motor yacht. Gourmet waterfront dining and entertainment highlights include a fashion show launching a new designer line of yachting crew wear, Defiance, designed by DISCOVERY Yacht owner Claudia Potamkin. SeaKeepers is proud to announce two upcoming DISCOVERY Yachts missions aboard M/Y Defiance occurring this November, which will enhance marine research and provide an educational opportunity for at-risk youth in South Florida.
