The Greater Niagara Frontier Council (GNFC) is preparing to hold one of its largest annual fundraising events, Fire and Ice, which will take place on Thursday, March 21 at Shea’s Seneca, 2188 Seneca Street, Buffalo, NY 14210, from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. Fire & Ice celebrates the Scouting experience and the positive impact Scouting has on youth, their families, and volunteers.

Once again, Eagle Scout and Buffalo car accident attorney, William Mattar is stepping up to chair the event. All proceeds go directly to support local Western New York Scouting programs.

It's wonderful to see so many people in Western New York come together to support Scouting. Every year we aim to surpass the previous year's success by gathering even more support for Scouting in our local communities.

Attendees will come together for an evening of music, themed food stations, cocktails and auctions, all set in a unique and exciting social atmosphere. This year’s theme is inspired by venue. Fire and Ice Goes to the Movies at Shea’s Seneca, where the dress code is cocktail attire / Hollywood glamour. Walk the red carpet as you enter the newly remodeled theatre space and enjoy an evening like no other.

Since the GNFC was founded over 100 years ago, tens of thousands of youth in our region have gone through their various Scouting programs. The mission of the BSA is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Buffalo auto injury attorney William Mattar supports and volunteers for a number of organizations. Having achieved Eagle Scout rank, he led his children though scouting and still upholds the values instilled in him from his youth. Since founding William Mattar law offices almost 30 years ago, he has helped thousands across New York State with their auto injury cases and continues to focus on helping people.
