After Halloween and before Thanksgiving, there's a new American tradition: Halloween Candy Buy Back. Parents and children across the Austin area are invited to participate in Dr. Helen Ragsdale's Halloween Candy Buy Back celebration this year.
How to Participate
Just pack up your unopened Halloween Candy in a disposable container, and stop by Austin Laser Dentist in Austin the week of October 31through November 4 during regular office hours. The Austin location, at 11615 Angus Rd., Suite 101, is open Monday through Thursday from 8am to 5pm and Friday from 8am to noon.
Exchange your Halloween candy for cash and prizes provided by Dr. Ragsdale. The donated sweets will be shipped to Operation Gratitude, a non-profit organization that supports and honors active US Military who are serving overseas. Children will have an opportunity to write Thank You notes to the troops, and cards brought from home are also welcome.
Where Donations Go
Operation Gratitude accepts Halloween candy donations, cards, and toothbrushes from dentists and dental patients across the nation. The response from American troops has been rewarding and overwhelming. To see videos and read about Operation Gratitude, visit www.OperationGratitude.com.
