Answering Service Switches to Google Apps for Business

Answering Service changes from Microsoft productivity suite to Google Apps for Business to improve efficiency and cut costs.

AnswerFirst Communications, Inc. announced this week that they are switching to Google's Apps for Business as their e-mail and office productivity suite solution. Google Apps for Business is a suite of web-based messaging, collaboration and productivity tools that was released by Google in August 2006. Businesses of all sizes are switching to Google Apps from Microsoft and Lotus solutions to reduce their IT costs and offer their employees improved remote access options.

James Cass, AnswerFirst's IT director said, "We're constantly looking for ways to lower our overhead while increasing our efficiency and Google Apps fits into this plan. This solution reduces our costs by reducing the amount of hardware and software required to run our IT department. It's secure, reliable and manageable. It's also intuitive and simple for our employees to use while providing them with a robust set of options for mobile access. We've been very happy with it and look forward to utilizing new features as Google introduces them."

AnswerFirst Communications, Inc. is based in Tampa, FL and provides answering services, virtual receptionist and call center solutions to customers internationally.
