Anthony Entertainment Presents "Stand Boogie And Shout," A Celebration of Gospel

Online, January 4, 2010 (Newswire.com) - With beautiful voices lifted in praise, this performance is gospel music at its best. From their traditional interpretation of Mahalia Jackson's "How I Got Over," to their room-shaking contemporary arrangement of "Testimony," this choir will have your family on its feet-singing together, moving together, bound together in love and joy. G-Unit's Kevin Weekes called the performance "transformative," and James McCullum of St. Martin's Church says the choir is "one of the best around."

When selecting songs for this project, the producers wanted to build a compilation that would lift hearts and touch souls-spanning generations, appealing to grandparents as well as young people away in the military or at college, to those near and dear, and to others who might be separated geographically, but who can be bound together by songs of praise.

The Anthony Entertainment family includes Executive Producer Alex English, Basketball Hall of Famer, NBA Coach, and actor, who has shared the screen with Jamie Lee Curtis and Whoopi Goldberg; Director Kurt Anthony, who has worked with everyone from RZA to Jeffrey Iqbal of Indian Idol;Producer Michael Goodin, who has guided films with The Sopranos' James Gandolfini, X-Men's Famke Jensen and The Day After Tomorrow's Dash Mihak; and Producer Ellen Witchell, whose association with young rappers stretches back to the days of Run DMC.
