Anthony October Breaks Racial Barriers With New LP

Underground artist Anthony October shows that it doesn't matter what someone is, it depends on how they do it.

In hip hop, there have come artist that have made history by disregarding unwritten rules, NWA with their controversial topics, Eminem with being a white rapper in a black domianted genre, but for some reason there has always been limitations in what exactly the generic rapper could be. Most say one has to have lived a certain way, or that they must live what you detail in their lyrics, Some even say that if they're racially limited, that it just won't work out for someone as an emcee, However, Bay Area Artist Anthony October is slowly proving all the haters wrong. Coming fresh off of releasing his newest offering "I Can't Drown My Demons", Anthony October is displaying similiar to a rebel, Disregarding set rules that were placed by previous pioneers before him. By creating controversial songs such as "Black Sleeves" , which he talks about his opinion on Drug Abuse and Politics, October is showcasing that limitations are a thing of the past, pushing levels that most Asian American rappers would never even dream of crossing. He performs this fact the best on his upcoming album LP, telling controversial stories such as an Asian American kid being brutalitized by police officers or trying to get acceptance from his father. Quickly getting respect from the streets since 2007, Anthony October is making fast history by disregarding his own limitations and pushing the limit. His controversial stories about the uprising of an Asian American kid in california are a perfect example that it doesnt matter what color they are or what limits are set, its all about how they do it.
