Anthony Roberts Directorial Debut 'Mistaken'
Online, July 7, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Anthony Roberts makes his directorial debut with 'Mistaken', taking on an enormous challenge of delivering a feature length movie on a nothing budget, starring in his own production. Following in the footsteps of Robert Rodriguez - 'the rebel without a crew', previews of the film have received strong praise from people across the film-making industry.
Mistaken is about an innocent young man, Leo Campbell, who finds himself wrongly targeted by a powerful mafia group. He narrowly escapes a murder attempt, and trusts in his good friend Detective Tom Shaw to help him find answers to why a bounty is on his life. They soon find themselves heavily involved in something far deeper than they could have ever imagined, and Leo discovers a ghost of his past may just be the cause of it all.
The feature production is action packed with stunts, comical one liners, and stunning performances, introducing Jamie Nash, who plays Detective Tom Shaw alongside more experienced actors such as Tony Cook. The film is not limited by it's low budget, drawing on the influence of Robert Rodriquez, Anthony Roberts utilizes many money saving methods whilst not compromising the action scenes such as elaborate car chases!
