Anti Smoking Website Starts Petition to Stop FDA Corruption
Anti Smoking Website, Puffweb.com, published a petition to stop FDA corruption, citing that the FDA is intentionally harassing companies that offer healthier alternatives to drugs, among other indiscretions.
Online, December 9, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Puffweb.com, a website that contains tobacco facts, tips on quitting smoking, and electronic cigarette information, published a petition to stop FDA corruption, citing that the FDA is intentionally harassing companies that offer healthier alternatives to drugs, among other indiscretions.
"The FDA wants you to stay sick. They want you to eat processed foods. They want you to smoke cigarettes. Why? Because when you do these things, you buy more pills to help you stay healthy and alive, and pharmaceutical companies stuff the FDA's pockets to keep it that way", said Puffweb.com owner Dan Henry.
The petition came in response to the FDA's staunch opposition to electronic cigarettes. "Here we go again. The FDA knows that using electronic cigarettes could potentially help smokers stay healthier, without drugs. They don't want that. Electronic cigarette companies are not paying them enough."
Mr. Henry believes that using electronic cigarettes is a great way to quit smoking, as a large portion of his website is dedicated to E Cig information, including his popular e cig reviews section.
The petition also mentions the CBS News report that found emails proving pharmaceutical companies paid their way into FDA meetings, and also the recent story of a walnut company being threatened by the FDA, claiming they market walnuts as drugs due to the "heart healthy" sticker on the bag.
Puffweb.com's goal is two-fold. One, to ease the fears of smokers considering what could be a healthier alternative to cigarettes by showcasing why the FDA should not be regarded as credible, and two, to help expose the FDA's atrocities in hopes true change may come forward.
