Los Angeles, Calif - Multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning artist Apl.de.Ap today announced that he has just been named a leading score composer for original comedic film "Happy Ending - A Touching Musical." An avid fan of cinema and dramatic design since childhood, Apl's expansion from a Black Eyed Peas member and CEO of global music label Jeepney Music (www.jeepneymusic.com) moves into the sphere of film and musical composition, a logical step for his creative career.

"Happy Ending - A Touching Musical," written and directed by Andrew Le Pera, is a comedic musical that was created in the irreverent spirit of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, filled with an expressive array of transvestites, square dancing Geishas and yodeling. Amidst a powerful creative team, Apl.de.Ap will be responsible for the film's musical arrangement - specifically for two of its original scores. In addition to working his musical magic, Apl will have a chance to step out from behind the camera and play a part in the film as an acrobatic vaudevillian clown!
