Appleton Wisconsin Restaurant Celebrates National Tequila Day

Online, July 21, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Osorio's Latin Fusion, a favorite Appleton restaurant, has announced the celebration of National Tequila Day with the second annual Margarita Pairing Dinner on July 24, 2014. Ranked in the el Restaurante magazine Spring issue as one of the top four restaurants in the country for creative cocktails, the owners of the popular family restaurant felt the pairing dinner was a natural to follow.

"When we realized that our quaint Appleton restaurant was among the highest ranked restaurants in the country for our specialty cocktails, we decided to go one step further," commented co-owner Kim Finnell. Accompanying a complete four-course feast, the Margaritas created for the celebration dinner are specifically designed to highlight and enhance the spicy Latin and International flavors in each carefully selected dish. Created from Osorio family recipes and the culinary expertise of co-owner and Executive Chef, Liborio Osorio and his staff, each course creates a different taste sensation.
"We pick our courses and pairings to make your taste buds celebrate the flavor," Finnell continued. "From the appetizer to the desert, we try to produce the ideal culinary experience complemented with the perfect libation."

Beginning the feast is an Osorio's family favorite, Duck Tacos, complete with an Orange Oregano Margarita, brand new to the restaurant's long list of specialty cocktails. Cucumber Chili Agave Salad is the second course, ideally paired with the refreshing Watermelon Chili Basil Margarita.

"I've been asked where we come up with these ideas for drinks," commented Finnell. "The answer is simple; our cuisine calls out for certain flavors and, through trial and error, we can usually find the perfect fit for nearly every dish."

The main course is an example of Finnell's flair for pairings: Al Pastor Stuffed Pineapple Boat accompanied with Osorio Latin Fusion's newest cocktail creation, the Chipotle Orange Margarita. No Tequila Day celebration would be complete without dessert prepared in the Osorio's Latin Fusion kitchen. The Margarita Pairing Dinner is completed with the tang of Margarita Pie and a Blueberry Hibiscus Margarita.
