Applied Satellite Technology Ltd Defines Routes to Market & Introduces 'AST Distribution'

Online, April 30, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Applied Satellite Technology Ltd has announced that companies within the AST Group, whose primary route to market is via distribution, have organised under a single entity "AST Distribution".

In order to achieve growth and present to the market a single wholesale/distribution company "AST Distribution" will operate globally and, consolidated under one brand, deliver a consistent and clear message to develop and service indirect channels worldwide.

Owner and Managing Director Gregory Darling commented; 'It makes sense for AST to move forward under one brand. We have decided to amalgamate our Indirect business under one trading name to enable the company to promote and position itself in the marketplace. I feel this will strengthen our already prominent branding as well introducing economies of scale that will allow us to expand further.
