Online, April 11, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Choices to Make Before it's too Late will be offered on Saturday, April 16, 2011, from 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at Carolina Meadows, 100 Whippoorwill Lane, in Chapel Hill. Cost is $10 and includes a light lunch and refreshments. The information provided during the workshop is not to be considered legal advice.
"These end-of-life health care decisions are not always ones we want to think about, but a plan that honors your values is an important document to share with your children and loved ones today," says Ursula Capewell, one of the organizers of the event sponsored by the Funeral Consumers Alliance of the Triangle (FCAT) and Compassion & Choices of North Carolina.
The workshop is being held on National Healthcare Decision Day, a collaborative effort of national, state and community organizations committed to ensuring that all adults with decision-making capacity in the United States have the information and opportunity to communicate and document their healthcare decisions.
To register, go to www.fcat-nc.org or contact Ursula Capewell at 919-542-6199 or [email protected]
