April grew up in a little hippy town in Southern California where we ran on organic oranges and sunshine. Where artists drove VW Things with Picasso's Starry Night as the paint job and uber-famous Hollywood actors lived. This is where I cultivated my love of art and DIY, along with my love of all things organic. At 17 I saw my need for Jesus and invited Him to take control of my life. He did and I have loved every minute of it since. I went to a small Christian liberal arts college where I met the love of my life (aka the hubby.) We were married in 2003. The hubby pastored an awesome church in Orange County, CA and I worked for 7 years in the interior design industry. In 2009 we were blessed with the birth of our daughter. In 2011 God called us to sell everything and move to the island of Roatan, Honduras in the western Caribbean to serve as missionaries for Him. I blog about my adventures as a wife, mother, missionary, artist, DIY'er, crafter, and Roatanian. Thanks for hanging with me.
