Architectural Tapas Served Up in Brazil

Marbella, Spain, October 13, 2015 (Newswire.com) - A striking architectural style, previously unseen in Northeast Brazil has been unveiled at Pure Resorts Parnaiba, where off-plan villas have gone on sale this month.

Designed by international award-winning architects, Melvin Villarroel, the look and feel of the new resort’s Signature Villas combines Mediterranean influences with the use of locally sourced, natural materials.

The Spanish architecture firm has previously designed on behalf of iconic brands such as Jumeirah and Kempinski Hotels. Key design features include an exposed beam ceiling made from sustainable eucalyptus beams, a thatched roof made from native palm tree straw, and typically Spanish white-washed render. Says Ailse MacFarlane, Managing Director of Landcorp International, which is marketing plots and off-plan villa sales at the resort: “The distinctive look is conceived to become synonymous with the Pure Resorts Hotels & Residences’ brand. There are plans to launch five premium resorts in Northeast Brazil and the residential villas will be a key component.” She adds: “The architects were asked to come up with a design that integrated with the natural surroundings and at the same time brought the outside in. That’s why there are high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows to let in as much of the beautiful Brazilian sunlight and scenery as possible.”

The premium villas, which all have their own private pools, are located adjacent to Parnaiba’s Pedra Do Sal beach, which is 8 kilometres-long and regarded as the best spot to watch the sunset in the region.
