Arcplan Teams Up with Simba Technologies to Bring Oracle Customers OLAP Analysis with MDX

Online, September 28, 2011 (Newswire.com) - arcplan, a global Business Intelligence (BI) software innovator, and Simba Technologies Inc., the industry's expert on data connectivity, today announced a partnership with that will connect Simba's MDX Provider for Oracle OLAP with arcplan 7 to simplify access to real-time business critical information and reduce IT costs and complexity. This partnership highlights both companies' strengths, with arcplan as a leading integrated BI platform and Simba Technologies as the market leader in standards-based relational and multi-dimensional data connectivity products.

By taking advantage of Simba's MDX Provider for Oracle OLAP, users are able to make educated decisions instantly by automatically feeding arcplan analysis applications with real-time data from the company's Oracle data warehouse. Using arcplan 7 as their BI solution allows Oracle customers to access large data volumes and perform quick, self-service analysis over the Web or on any mobile device.

The combined offering empowers business users to design their own dashboards, scorecards, and reports easily and deploy them as a web app securely, without depending on IT.
