Arctic Ease Signs Endorsement Deal With Professional Triathlete & Ironman Meredith Kessler

Arctic Ease Cold Therapy Products Signs First Athletic Endorsement Deal

Phoenixville, PA - Arctic Ease cold therapy products announced today the signing of Triathlete and Ironman Champion Meredith Kessler to a multi-year endorsement contract. Kessler, who currently lives in San Francisco, grew up in Columbus, Ohio where she was a 4-sport athlete and was inducted into her high school's Athletic Hall of Fame. She then went on to receive a Division I athletic scholarship at Syracuse University where she participated in field hockey and track. After graduation in 2000, she used her graduation money to purchase her first triathlon bike and entered in a full Ironman (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run) 2 weeks later.

"I'm thrilled to join the Arctic Ease family and am eager to represent a brand that I find both inspiring and authentic," said Kessler. "Given their quality products, support of charitable programs, and commitment to domestic manufacturing, I feel that Arctic Ease and I are a great fit.

"Meredith's accomplishments as an athlete make her a great brand ambassador for Arctic Ease," says Carol Forden CEO & President of Arctic Ease. "But it is her sincere passion and energy to give back to the community that inspires the entire company and makes her such a natural member of the Arctic Ease family."

Kessler has competed in and came away with the title of "Champion" at the 2009 Vineman 70.3, 2009 Ironman Coeur D'Alene, 2009 Wildflower 70.3 (course record) and 2008 Ironman Arizona (course record). She took Second Place at the 2010 Ironman Coeur D'Alene and 2010 Ironman St. George. But later that year, Kessler was able to again snag the coveted title of Champion at the 2010 Ironman Canada.

Kessler is currently being coached by Matt Dixon MSc of Purple Patch Fitness and teaches at Velo SF, a downtown San Francisco cycling studio which is an efficient way to help her become a better cyclist.
