Aremena Wins US DOS Regulated Waste Management Contract For Iraq

In a statement, Aremena's Country Manager, Dr. Emad Ali made it public that Aremena-Iraq was selected by the US Department of State to handle regulated waste in 13 US Embassy locations across Iraq including but not limited to:
• Northern Region: Erbil and associated sites, Kirkuk, and Tikrit
• Central Region: Sather, Shield, Besmayah, Union III, Taji, Prosperity, and U.S. Embassy
• Southern Region: Basrah, an d Umm Qasar
Under the terms of this $12.5M contract, Aremena is mandated to undertake extensive regulated waste management services for the US Embassy for the next five years. Aremena's knowhow, expertise and resources in processing regulated waste across Middle East were a key to its selection to do this important task for the US Embassy and its sites across the nation. After careful and detailed evaluation of Aremena's qualification and most specifically GOI certifications and permits, US DOS selected Aremena as the company to provide regulated waste management services to the US Embassy sites across Iraq. This contract brings US government facilities into compliance with GOI regulations regarding the safe treatment and proper disposal of regulated wastes. Aremena was selected due to its proven knowhow, expertise and resources to do this important task for the US Embassy and its sites across the nation.
