Arizona River Runners adds New - Spring 2010 - "Hikers Special" to Grand Canyon Rafting Trips

Arizona River Runners is offering three new spring trips! All three trips will allow you more time for additional side canyon hiking and discovery in the milder temperatures of the desert in April, 2010.

(Grand Canyon, Arizona) - Enjoy the Canyon in a whole new way as the spring bloom adds even more color and beauty to an already amazing landscape. Straying from the beaten path, travelers will be guided through the lesser-seen side of the Grand Canyon. Experience the astounding views of hidden waterfalls, ancient Indian ruins, lush hanging gardens, and magnificent overlooks. Raft the best whitewater on the Colorado River and savor calm moments on the river to reflect and renew.

Exploring the Grand Canyon by river is an experience unlike any other. This is the only time these special trips are being offered during the 2010 season!

April 3-14, 2010, 12-day motor powered trip. This 12 day/11 night adventure travels a total of 225 miles through the Grand Canyon. The trip begins at Marble Canyon, and ends at Diamond Creek. This trip discovers the rush of excitement from rafting the Colorado River whitewater. Escape completely on a worry-free vacation with no schedules and no stress - where time stands still!

April 3-8, 2010, 6-day motor powered trip. You can experience 6-days and 5-nights of some of the most spectacular views and the biggest whitewater in North America. Perfect for those wanting more hiking and it fits perfectly into a weeklong vacation.

April 8-14; a 7-day motor powered trip. Travel 187 miles from historic Lee's Ferry to Whitmore Wash. The additional day provides the opportunity for more off-river time to take in the spectacular vistas and side stream hikes. This trip is the favorite of those who realize all the many sights there are to explore along the river corridor.
