Arkadin Wins 2012 Growth Excellence Award in Asia Pacific Hosted Conferencing Services Market
Online, September 27, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Arkadin has been awarded the 2012 Frost & Sullivan Growth Excellence Award in the Asia Pacific Hosted Conferencing Services Market for the third consecutive year. The award was presented at the 2012 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Best Practices Awards held on the 25th of September at the Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore.
The Frost & Sullivan Growth Excellence Award is bestowed each year upon the company that has demonstrated excellence across two facets, growth strategy and growth implementation. This award recognizes the company's leadership ability to sustain growth in the short-term and the long-term as measured by the quality of its vision, people, processes, and policies.
The Asia Pacific market for hosted conferencing services recorded 16.8% in yearly growth for 2011, the highest in the past three years, with the total market exceeding US$600 million in value. The high growth in the market was driven by increasing usage from both traditional and emerging businesses, as well as efforts from market participants to increase penetration in the small and medium business (SMB) segment.
"Arkadin once again demonstrated their strong growth initiatives by developing suitable go-to-market strategies in 2011. Current partnerships with local telecom operators have helped the company increase customer penetration into home-country organizations, recording a continual estimated robust growth of over 47 percent across the region in 2011, with phenomenal success in Singapore, Japan, China, India and South Korea," said Jessie Yu, Senior Industry Analyst, ICT Practice, Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific.
"We owe this growth to our 8000 enterprise customers, our 250 employees and our strategic partners in Asia Pacific. Our success lies in our localized approach to business. Arkadin is proud to be the Collaboration Service Provider with the largest number of offices in Asia Pacific, as close as possible to our customers. This has proven to make a difference and we will continue to develop this model," said Serge Genetet, Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Arkadin.
The momentum towards the customer segment of middle-to-large local customers has also driven Arkadin to grow its market share across Asia Pacific. Some 'signature' wins in verticals like BFSI and Manufacturing have helped Arkadin to streamline the practice of both sales force and customer support for large accounts in 2011. "The simplified user experience powered by the cloud collaboration platform also articulates the value proposition and differentiation of Arkadin as the collaboration service provider in the marketplace," Yu added.
With the launch of the Cloud Collaboration Platform earlier this year, Arkadin further expands the simplicity and global reach of its conferencing services. The platform is architected on an innovative, private global IP-network that integrates with a full suite of web and video solutions, and will form the basis of Arkadin's long-range unified collaboration offerings.
