Menotomy Beer & Wine Hosts 2nd Annual Fundraiser to Build School in Thailand for GENESIS

The GENESIS Network, a nonprofit organization that helps at-risk children and communities in underdeveloped areas, is pleased to announce that Menotomy Beer & Wine, Arlington, MA will be hosting Menot-O-Fest, a charity beer tasting this month to help GENESIS build a school in Thailand.

Over 100 local brewers will be offering courtesy tastings of their beer and The Meat House will be serving BBQ. There will be numerous raffles and prizes including a special collector's bottle of Sam Adams Utopias signed by Jim. All proceeds from raffle and food sales will go directly to The Genesis Network's effort to build a schoolhouse in a poverty-stricken area of Thailand.

The event is free to attend and open to the public. Rain or shine, Menot-O-Fest will be held outside under tents on Sunday, May 15, 2011, 1:00 - 5:00PM, Menotomy Beer & Wine, 80 Broadway, Arlington, MA 02474. Proof age will be required for those who consume alcohol.

Approximately 1,000 local people are expected to attend this second annual event. Festivalgoers can expect to meet representatives from an array of renowned breweries including Dogfish Head, Sam Adams, Pretty Things, Fisherman's, The People's Pint, Shipyard, Long Trail, Tröegs, High & Mighty, Mayflower and more.
