This week sees the online launch of a brand new approach to beauty. Exclusives prescriptive skincare is brought to you by The Apothecary, an aromatherapy company from the West Midlands, England. It is part of a radical restructure that has ensured that the business blossoms in these hard times of economical uncertainty.
Exclusive offers customers a unique opportunity to design their own skin range from a range of 7 bases and 15 formulae, all pertaining to different skin problems, from spots to smokers skin and even oils to help restore elasticity to mature skin.

The benefits to the customer's skin are obvious however they have the added pleasure of saving a huge amount of money and also space in their bathroom cupboard by having all their problems treated by this one product. In fact they are able to choose moisturiser, cleanser or toner and so are able to have a complete skincare system.

Jill Cook, the Owner of The Apothecary and creator of the products described the launch as " an extremely important and exciting step for us, we have been making people better for such a long time but now that we have the website we will be able to help so many more people. "

Exclusive's is a further extension of their medicinal products and the company also design and make bespoke perfumes.

The products are now available to be shipped worldwide, from an extremely experienced mail order company. The Apothecary has only recently opened their website after having traded at agricultural and craft shows around the UK for the last 23 years, despatching repeat business from Jill's home in Walsall.

Jill's husband and business partner in The Apothecary, Michael Cook, sadly passed away in January this year. He had been a driving force in the sales of the products and so his loss has meant that the business needed to explore new avenues to survive and grow.

The website has been developed by Jill's daughter Elizabeth Boyd who is also a qualified aromatherapist. Elizabeth told us "This is a brand new venture for both of us, but the business needed to take on a new shape after my stepfather died and we are astonished how well it has been received."
