Arsenal Testhouse releases new MIFARE Certification policy

Michelbach, Austria, July 3, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2014, today MIFARE has a growing number of evolution states of each product family on the market, resulting in a variety of over 21 different types of MIFARE chips.

To increase the quality and services offered by Arsenal Testhouse GmbH, its management introduced a new MIFARE Family oriented pricing model ensuring higher flexibility of Arsenal testing services. Its MIFARE certification institute offers the most restrictive certification for several chip types of the MIFARE Families (Classic/Plus/DESFire/Ultralight) in the contactless world. The new certification policy states that one Arsenal MIFARE Certificate includes the whole chip family of one evolution instead of one specified chip type as in the past. In example, this means that one tested and certified card with MIFARE Classic EV1 chip includes 4k variant as well as the different UID versions.

All currently valid certificates are automatically extended to the associated families and evolutions according to the new MIFARE certification policy.
