With over 35 years dedicated to law, Mr. Luby brings a wealth of knowledge to his industry, and in particular to his area of specialization, the representation of pilots throughout the United States in collective bargaining, contract enforcement, and air safety issues. When asked why he decided to pursue a career in law, Mr. Luby said:

Over the course of his career, Mr. Luby has worked in a number of leadership positions in labor and employment law. He currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA). Before joining the ALPA as Senior Labor Relations Counsel in 2005, and then becoming the Assistant Director in 2006, Mr. Luby handled the government affairs for the Transport Workers Union for many years, which included regulatory issues as well as congressional relations, as part of his private practice. He also had extensive experience handling labor law and collective bargaining issues for the TWU and the American Postal Workers Union in the course of private practice.
As a thought-leader in his industry, Mr. Luby pays close attention to prevailing trends in employment law. In addition to his work with ALPA, he also writes frequently on labor law and collective bargaining issues, and is highly regarded in his field by other attorneys in both the public and private sectors.
