Artist's Revenue from Tribe of Noise Beats Lady Gaga on Spotify

Online, October 14, 2013 (Newswire.com) - While consumer focused music company Spotify is helping major artists like Lady Gaga to market her music online, music licensing company Tribe of Noise has taken a different approach towards the music licensing industry and recent internal statistics by Tribe of Noise show significant higher revenue pay-outs.
Many stories have been published about Spotify's small steps forward in generating some direct revenue for the artists like the famous Spotify story featured in The Guardian , Zoƫ Keating's earnings as an indie musician, David Byrne's criticism this week about the lack of money flowing into artists' pockets and the recent call from Radiohead and Atoms for Peace frontman Thom Yorke.
Recent internal statistics by Tribe of Noise however show that independent artists with 2 albums featured in Tribe of Noises' In-store Music service, a subscription based all-rights included music service for businesses, easily generates twice as much revenue in less time as one of Lady Gaga's hits did on Spotify.
Glasgow-based musician/producer Sam Gallagher comments: "Tribe's In-store music scheme is the most income that my songs have ever made. They've made a real difference to my life as a musician".
