ASA College Launches Essay Writing Contest

Online, March 23, 2011 (Newswire.com) - To celebrate its 25th Anniversary, ASA The College For Excellence launched an essay writing contest. The contest will grant three winners monetary prizes that will be applied towards tuition at the college.

The competition is aimed at high school seniors and recent high school graduates residing in New York who plan to start college next year. The first-prize winner will receive $2,000, the second- and third-prize winners will receive $1,500 and $1,000 respectively. To enter this contest, participants will write an essay answering the following question: "Why is a college education important to me?"

The contest started on March 16th, 2011, and will end on April 15th, 2011. The winners will be announced on May 2nd, 2011.
