Ascot Manor Selected as a Recipient of American Express and IFundWomen of Color 100 for 100 Program

The Black female-owned socially conscious tennis apparel and athleisure brand will receive a $25,000 grant and 100 days of resources.

Ascot Manor, one of the first black female-owned socially conscious tennis apparel, active-leisurewear brands for men and women has officially been selected for American Express and IFundWomen of Color’s 100 for 100 program. 100 Black-women owned businesses in a variety of industries located across the US will receive $25,000 in funding and 100 days of business mentoring and education, beginning January 2021, from American Express in order to jumpstart their business ventures.

The 100 for 100 program was built to support Black-women-owned businesses who showcased innovation through crisis. Aligning with this message, American Express selected Ascot Manor due to the brand’s pay-it-forward business model, which re-invests a percentage of sales back into the business to help support under-resourced highly-skilled competitive junior tennis players with both financial and apparel sponsorship. American Express discovered Ascot Manor through the brand’s IFundWomen of Color Crowdfunding Campaign that launched in September 2020.

“I am deeply honored to have been selected by American Express whose contribution to the sport of tennis dates back to 1994 as a longstanding partner of the US Open, and who has supported small businesses for decades. Their support will bring awareness and recognition to a mission that is profoundly needed to further diversify junior and professional tennis and bring individual financial opportunities to the players who need it most.” - Ahlilah Longmire, Founder of Ascot Manor

To celebrate the program, previous Ascot Manor customers who purchased with an American Express card will automatically receive 15% off their next purchase. New Ascot Manor customers will receive $10.00 off their first order of $100.00 or more and an additional 15% off their second order when using their American Express card.

Additionally, Ascot Manor has introduced new fashionable Face Masks and an Ascot Manor Gift Shop for the holidays that includes, Pom-Pom Beanies, Embroidered Beanies, Twisted Headband Sets, Backpack x Travel Organizer,Silver Bar Chain Bracelet, Silver Bar Tennis Necklace, Magic Mugs, and more.
